Buttered Lemon Couscous

  • 3 cups water or 750 ml
  • 2 cubes MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon
  • 3 cups cooked couscous or 500 g
  • 2½ tablespoons butter
  • Lemon zest, one piece only
  • ¼ cup pine seeds, toasted
  • ¼ cup toasted almonds, sliced

How to Prepare

  1. Bring water and MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon cubes to a boil in a casserole.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in couscous using a fork, then cover and let it stand for 4 mins.
  3. Add butter, lemon zest, pine seeds and almonds. Stir and fluff with a fork until well combined.
