Calamari Tomato and Vegetables Soup

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion or 100 g, chopped
  • 250 g calamari, cut into rings
  • 1 medium tomato or 150 g, peeled and cubed
  • 1 sachet MAGGI® Vegetable Soup
  • 4½ cups water or 1125 ml
  • Pinch of salt, to taste
  • Pinch of ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground dried thyme

How to Prepare

  1. Heat oil in a saucepan and fry onions for 2 mins or until it becomes tender.
  2. Add calamari and thyme. Stir for 2 mins then add tomato, thyme and tomato paste. Stir for another 1 min.
  3. Add MAGGI® Vegetable Soup and water. Let it simmer on low heat for 10 mins uncovered then serve.
