Chicken with Smoked Turkey Supreme

A turkey always calls for a special occasion anywhere in the world. This chicken and turkey recipe calls for an occasion if it doesn't already exist! This recipe will delight all.


  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 kg skinned chicken drumsticks
  • 2 cups mushrooms or 200 g, sliced
  • 1½ tablespoons plain flour
  • 2 cubes MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon
  • ½ cup smoked turkey breast or 100 g, sliced into thin strips
  • 3 cups water or 750 ml
  • 1 cup liquid cream or 250 ml
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

How to Prepare

  1. Heat oil in a large pan, fry chicken drumsticks until they get a slight golden color. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, fry mushrooms for 5 mins. Mix in the flour.
  3. Add MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon cubes, smoked turkey, water and mix well. Return the chicken pieces to the pan and bring to boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 30-35 mins or until the chicken pieces become tender.
  4. Add cream, parsley, lemon juice and pepper. Simmer for 3 mins, then remove from heat.
