Cream of Chicken and Cabbage Soup

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion or 100 g, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 cups white cabbage or 170 g, shredded
  • ½ teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 5 cups water or 1250 ml
  • 1 sachet MAGGI® Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

How to Prepare

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan, cook onions and garlic over medium heat for 3-4 mins or until tender.
  2. Add shredded cabbage and caraway seeds and cook for 2-3 mins or until cabbage becomes tender.
  3. Add water and MAGGI® Cream of Chicken Soup. Bring to boil with stirring then simmer for 8-10 mins.
  4. Add the soup to a food processor and process for 2-3 mins or until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
  6. Serve with toasted croutons.
