Kofta and Vegetables Soup

A flavour bomb, and a healthy one to boot. That's what this soup chockfull of fresh local produce is. Kofta is undoubtedly a family-favourite among most. You are absolutely going to love it! 


  • 250 g minced lamb
  • 1 small onion or 50 g, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 6 cups water or 1500 ml
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 1 sachet MAGGI® Vegetables Soup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped, additional quantity

How to Prepare

  1. Combine minced lamb, onion, and parsley in a bowl. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small balls. In a preheated oven, place lamb balls on an oven tray and bake in 200°C for 10 mins or until balls are cooked.
  2. Meanwhile, add water and MAGGI® Vegetables Soup in a large saucepan.
  3. Bring to boil and simmer for 10 mins. Add the cooked lamb balls and stir.
  4. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
