Lamb and Brown Rice Broth

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 250 g minced lamb
  • 1 small onion or 100 g, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup brown rice or 50 g
  • 7 cups water or 1750 ml
  • ½ tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 sachet MAGGI® 11 Vegetables Soup
  • Pinch of ground black pepper, to taste

How to Prepare

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan, add and cook lamb and onion on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.
  2. Add brown rice, water and tomato paste. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
  3. Add MAGGI® 11 Vegetables Soup and simmer for more 10 minutes.
  4. Season with pepper and serve.
