Lamb Satay

Ingredients

  • 750 g lamb, tender, cut into 2 cm pieces
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1½ teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1½ cups water or 375 ml
  • 1 cube MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon
  • ½ cup peanut butter or 130 g
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1½ tablespoons coriander leaves, finely chopped

How to Prepare

  1. Thread the lamb pieces onto skewers and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a medium saucepan, add ginger and cumin, stir over medium heat for 1 min.
  3. Add water, MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon cubes, peanut butter lemon juice and chili sauce. Bring to boil and simmer uncovered for 4-5 mins.
  4. Grill or barbecue lamb skewers until cooked as desired and serve with satay sauce.
