Lamb Stew with Cauliflower

  • 500 g cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion or 150 g, finely chopped
  • 500 g lamb, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 5 cups water or 1250 ml
  • 2 cubes MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

How to Prepare

  1. Cook the cauliflower in boiling water for 5 mins. Remove from water, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large saucepan then cook the onion for 4-6 mins or until golden. Add meat and garlic and cook for 5 mins.
  3. Add cinnamon, pepper, water, MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon cubes, tomato paste and lemon juice. Bring to boil and simmer for 40 mins or until meat is tender.
  4. Add the cauliflower and simmer for 5-10 mins or until cauliflower is soft but not overcooked.
