Lentil Soup with Minced Beef

Almost a soup made out of hamburger! This lentil and beef soup is a family favorite that you could never go wrong with. A healthy, hearty meal to help you feel full longer.


  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion or 50 g, finely chopped
  • 150 g minced beef
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 5 cups water or 1250 ml
  • 1 sachet MAGGI® Lentil Soup
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

How to Prepare

  1. Warm olive oil in a large saucepan. Add chopped onions and cook for 2 mins.
  2. Add minced beef and fry for 4 mins or until brown and cooked.
  3. Add cumin powder, water, and MAGGI® Lentil Soup. Bring to boil with constant stirring and simmer on low heat for 15 mins.
  4. Add parsley and season with lemon juice then serve.
