Shrimps and Green Peas Soup

  • 5 cups water or 1250 ml
  • 1 sachet MAGGI® Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 small diced carrot or 100 g
  • 1½ cups canned green peas or 240 g
  • 400 g peeled medium size shrimps, cleaned and cut horizontally into 2 slices
  • ¼ cup liquid cream or 60 ml
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

How to Prepare

  1. Add water, MAGGI® Cream of Chicken Soup, carrot and green peas to a large saucepan. Bring to a boil with constant stirring then simmer for 10 mins. Use a kitchen blender and puree the soup, then strain in a strainer.
  2. Pour the soup back to the cleaned sauce pan. Add in the shrimps and simmer for 4-5 mins or until the shrimps are cooked. Add light cream and lemon juice. Stir and serve.
