Spaghetti with Yogurt and Sumac

A beloved Italian dish gets a touch of the Levant with our yogurt and mint sauce. Simply irresistible!


  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 300 g spaghetti, boiled and drained
  • 1 sachet MAGGI® Powder Chicken Bouillon
  • 3 cups yogurt
  • ½ cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons sumac

How to Prepare

  1. Prepare sauce by combining and mixing yogurt and mint leaves in a large bowl. Then set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, sauté onions in olive oil until soft. Add garlic, spaghetti and MAGGI® Powder Chicken Bouillon and toss gently to coat.
  3. Before serving, add yogurt sauce to the pasta and gently toss to warm the sauce.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with sumac.
