Spinach Crepe

  • 1 sachet MAGGI® Béchamel Mix
  • 2 cups skimmed milk
  • 12 large crepes, pre-made
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and excess water removed

How to Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C, and place the rack in the middle position.
  2. Prepare béchamel sauce by combining 1 sachet MAGGI® Béchamel Mix and skimmed milk in a sauce pan. Cook until thick for about 5 mins, and then set aside.
  3. Place one crepe on the bottom and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of cheese. Place another crepe on top and spread about 3 tablespoons of prepared béchamel sauce on top. Sprinkle with more cheese and 1 tablespoon of drained spinach.
  4. Repeat until all the crepes, sauce and spinach are finished, reserving 3-4 tablespoons of cheese for the top.
  5. Gently place in the oven and bake for 30-40 mins until the cheese is melted and slightly golden on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 10 mins before serving.
