Tabikh Kofta Loobia with Potato

  • 2 cubes MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 600 g kofta meat (small meatballs)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 5 cm
  • ½ teaspoon each: ground black pepper, cinnamon powder, ground cumin, cardamom powder, ground cloves, and ground coriander
  • 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ½ cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 medium potatoes, cut into 2 cm cubes

How to Prepare

  1. Dissolve 2 MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon cubes in 2 cups of hot water and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan and fry kofta balls until golden in color. Add onions and continue frying until the onions are soft.
  3. Add green beans and stir for 5 mins. Add spices, tomato, tomato paste, coriander and MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon.
  4. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 5 mins.
  5. Add potatoes. Cover and simmer over low heat for another 15-20 mins or until cooked and fork-tender.
  6. Serve with flat bread or rice.
